This painting features an example of an urban Banksia menziesii in various stages of flowering. It is located in an area of remnant bushland in the Perth Metro area named the Inglewood Triangle. This Banksia menziesii can be viewed easily from the main path but is currently at great risk from dieback. Marking tape is used for many reasons in natural areas; to mark plants for removal, or to conserve or indicate it has been tested for dieback.
